As weird and random as this may seem, I suddenly want to play Diablo II LOL I was surfing around GameSpot and found out that Diablo III is coming out! Not sure when though...the date hasn't been confirmed but I figure it'll be cool to play the 2nd installation before proceeding to the third xD

Oh yeah, on Friday I had a singtel technician come down to check out my connection...I was complaining that my connection was awfully slow so he came down to have a look...as it turns out, though I suspect it isn't the case all the time, it's not my connection, rather it's the servers of the international websites that I visit that causes the extremely slow loading time...oh well...

Monday was pretty good..except for the fact that Shery's not feeling well...I'm really worried about her but I know that she's a strong girl. =)

Those who know me, know I am not a religious kinda guy...I just ain't God-fearing...I've been to church before...I've been for cell group meetings...I've prayed...read the bible...but alas, it just isn't me...

However, my reason for such an introduction is because, recently, I've started listening to Christian music again. I've always loved it, even though I'm not exactly worshiping..weird isn't it? I don't know...I just find that music composed by groups such as Hillsongs, Hillsongs United and Planet Shakers have a calming, soothing, comforting feel to them (Yeah I know they are supposed to do that) but for someone like myself, who isn't into the whole religious thing, it does say something. =) The power that music has over the mind, over the heart. It is quite amazing if we actually realize.

I've been thinking about a lot of stuff...perhaps its the music that's 'conjuring' up all these thoughts but yeah, nonetheless I am thinking them. Thinking about my past...about the present...about what can be, what could be, what could have been...kinda emo-ish I suppose..but hell, we're all entitled to it every now and then eh. =)

I really ought to start writing some new material on my guitar..(Yeah this must be the thousandth time I've said that) I keep wanting to but I just can't seem to get the right words down on the paper. I always end up writing up to two verses and sometimes a chorus then I end up throwing the paper away because I just don't know what else to write. Writer's block perhaps? I don't know....hopefully I get at least one or two new songs up soon. I'll definitely post em here once ready. =)

Just about to hop into bed...today wasn't really eventful in camp, except for having to send a patient from the medical centre in camp to Tan Tock Seng Hospital. Like always, I'm just counting the hours till the day is over and I get to come home. =)

Dress Sense

I have decided to refine my dressing sense a little bit...I realized recently that I really love the smart casual look of jeans with men's dress shoes. I am gonna go out and buy a nice pair of dress shoes one of these weekends to wear with my jeans! I think its high time I changed my style some, especially since I'm already 22. I can't wear jeans with sports shoes forever eh x.x LoL So yeah this will be a refreshing upgrade. =)

Oh yeah I got 3 days off from my OC for the grade A we got in our company's audit two weeks ago. I'm thinking of taking next Friday off...make it a nice long weekend heh heh...Oh and I gotta apply for leave for the 26th of December. I know its damn far away right now but I need to save a spot now so that by the time November/December comes, when everyone starts to fight to take leave on that day I'll already have my leave for that day safe! We need at least 50% attendance on any one day and chances are a LOT of people will want to be away from camp on that day. Christmas this year falls on a Thursday so 26th, a Friday, is perfect for a day on leave >=) Heh...

It has been exactly one year since the day I enlisted into the army! I've served for 365 days and have 362 days to go! It's not a typo...362! The reason being the fact that 07th June 2009 falls on a Sunday so Friday (05th June) will be my last day of service! Not bad huh! =D

Enlisting Tomorrow

Hey everyone!

Tomorrow's the day I enlist into the army. I've been waiting 2 years and tomorrow is THE day. Although I've been waiting for an eternity, it feels like its coming all at once suddenly. I'm keeping positive about it, however! I am confident I'll survive and possible enjoy myself. I look forward to making a bunch of army buddies and getting fitter.

Once I book out for the first time, which will be either 2 or 3 weeks from today, it will be the first big achievement for me! I can't wait for that day to come! =)

Anyway, I think I'm ready. I have packed my bag, got my liquid detergent, clothe hangers, extra set of clothes, toiletries and a small lock for my cupboard. Oh and I am brining two pairs of rubber slippers. One spare just in case! =)

I will post here again once I come home in 2-3 weeks time. Keep a look out for the post! xD Take care everyone! I am already missing my Mom and my friends! <3 =)

2 months since my last post! Oh man...time flies! xD Well not much has happened really. This year has started out smoothly and, well, so far so good!

Oh yeah I went down to Orchard today for like an hour plus, to grab another book from Borders, and to change my SIM card from 2G to 3G. I got another John Grisham novel. Really interesting stuff! Can't wait to start reading it! I decided to get it for the plane ride. 13 hours and 40 minutes in the plane is not that short a trip xD

I've been setting up my phone, function-wise, setting my pin code on the new SIM card and trying out some new games. I actually found a site to download mobile games for free and I just bluetooth it from my computer to my phone. Once again, technology never fails to impress! xD

Anyway, I'm gonna go play some FIFA and watch some shows...oh and I just realized something...I'm damn thirsty! Must be the effects of MSG from lunch. Alrighty, till later! Adios!

Getting Into Gear 2 In Life...

Today, I applied for a job! =D I went to this little place, walking distance from my house, called "Pasir Panjang Village". There is a row of pubs and a restaurant at the corner. I went through the pubs but there were either not hiring, or only looking for waitresses.

In the end, I went to the restaurant, called "The West Wing" and applied for a waitering position there. It's a small restaurant, serving western-style food, steaks and the like. It was such a cool experiance! I just went in, off the street, and asked if they had any open spots and I was introduced to the boss, this young Indian fellow no older then early 30s I'm guessing, and he gave me an application form to fill. After filling it up with my details, previous job spots etc..he conducted a short interview, asking me questions about my current doings, my possible working position in the restaurant, what I would be doing, etc.. He asked me if I had any previous experience in F&B so I honestly said that I didn't, but that I'm willing to learn the skills and that I feel I'd do an excellent job.

All in all, I believe the whole interview went really well! Unfortunately, he couldn't give me an answer there and then, but he said he'll call me this coming Monday. Oh and, when standing up to shake hands, I asked him if my chances were good. He told me my chances were very good. I don't know if he was fibbing or if he was sincere, but hell, I really hope I get the job! The guy seems nice and the other one or two waiters I met seemed pretty nice too. The boss said I'll be able to learn a lot from the other waiters and waitresses so it'll be awesome!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the call on Monday! =D Wish me luck everyone! I'll post here with the results! Oh yeah, I figure if I don't get this job, I'll head down to Vivocity and try some of the restaurants there. I'm bound to get a job sooner or later, but I REALLY do hope I can get this job on Monday! The coolest part about it, is that the restaurant is walking distance from my house! I can just walk home after work! Take a nice slow stroll and listen to my mp3's on the way back...how perfect is that! =D

[Moving on in the day's events!]

At 11:45pm, Jamie and Xiaoting came over. Xiaoting's birthday is today (Saturday 27th Jan) so Jamie and I planned this little surprise! We got Xiaoting over at my place, and at exactly midnight, we took out this cake which I bought earlier in the day at Vivocity just for this occasion, and placed a candle on it, lit it up, and wished her happy birthday! xD After that, we headed to my room to play cards and just chill. We had another surprise which was hiding under my blanket actually! It's this soft-toy that Jamie knew she loved, and we got it for her. The plan (which went very smooth) was that Jamie would blast the aircon so she'd be cold enough to take the blanket and cover up. When she lifted it up, she'd see the present!

I think Xiaoting got a big kick out of it haha xD Hugs went around and, believe it or not, all three of us were playing with the soft-toy for like the next 10minutes..its really soft and the material they use is really awesome. It's this kitty, covered in a mantaray outfit. VERY cute! Haha =D

Anyway, after all that, we chilled a bit more, playing a few more card games, and decided to go for a drive. We grabbed supper at this "Cheese Prata" stall nearby and then went for a stroll at Labrador Park. We saw these beautiful cats around the area and one of them was friendly enough to let us play with her. She was rather shy though, but not too shy to come near enough to us so that was great!

We went to Sentosa right after that, drove inside and parked at, I think it was either Fort Siloso Beach or Palawan Beach. It was very awesome! Entry into Sentosa at 3am is FREE xD We sat at the beach and met another cat there. This was a boy, VERY loving, and had really soft fur. Somehow we keep meeting cats this morning. Haha..

We headed back home after that and decided to call it a night. Xiaoting's bunking at Jamie's and we'll be meeting later today (Saturday) to hang again. Looking forward to it!

I'm 21 in 2 months!!! I'm an old man!! *grabs walking-stick* *hobbles*

I'm still awaiting the enlistment letter from the army...but I have decided, if I don't get the letter by end Jan, I'll give CMPB a call and ask about my status. Who knows...if I don't say anything, I'll be 75 years old by the time they enlist me into the army, for all we know.

What a situation that would turn out to be. O.O Speaking of military, there is this new game on PC "Rainbow Six: Vegas" and it looks SOOOOO good! I'm really considering buying it! I found this video recording of some guy playing the game. The style and design of the game is awesome! xD

Enough of games...Mom's office colleague received this email about a kitten needing a home. Mom and I thought about it, and considering our current circumstance, we might adopt the kitten. It is a little male kitten, about 4 months old. We figure if it works out nicely, he and Sissy could get along and play together, which will keep Sissy from chasing Crystal around the house so much. =D

Oh yeah, I've been downloading "The King Of Queens" show episodes into my computer! It is an awesome show to watch! I think 'Friends' and 'The King Of Queens' are my 2 most favorite comedy TV shows. =D

So far, 2007 has been good...Hopefully it stays smooth!

Group Outing! \m/

Yesterday, being the 22nd of December 2006, was awesome! We had a group outing to Orchard, PS and Bugis! There was Dreamze, myself, Nicolette, Shue Ting, Wan Xin, Xiao Wei, Garrel and last but not least, little Andrae! Mei and I met up at Somerset MRT station first and then we met Jolene and Chai but they left soon after, on their date. xD Mr Dreamze and gang finally showed up soon after, just about 5 minutes. We made our way to Cineleisure and had lunch at Subway! Mei and I had the beefball marenera sandwich which is my no.1 favourite!! We added jalepino slices as one of our toppings and it was HOT HOT HOT!!! It was AWESOME!! \m/ !!

After lunch, we walked around the shops and tried to find Dreamze a decent black shirt. Mei mei was the fashion advisor for the event! xD We didn't find anything there in the end, and made our way to Plaza Singapure (PS). We had a look at the shops there but hadn't much luck either. Some of the shirts were nice but too expensive. Dreamze got Mei a computer mic for her Xmas present too so that worked out nicely!

We headed to Bugis next, getting squashed in the MRT train at the same time Haha..It was quite an experiance! By this time, it was about 5ish, coming to 6 in the evening. Dreamze decided to take us to this little shop in goodness knows where, to try curry which according to him is top notch! It wasn't spicy at all but it did taste really good! We also had a plate of cabbage soaked in curry which was delish.! I'm feeling nibbly, thinking about the food LOL =P

After the dinner, we walked around, also digesting our dinner. It was quickly getting dark so we parted ways soon after. If I could replay the day's events all over again I would! =D

Xiao Wei and I had a short SMS chat later in the night and now she's my Mei Mei too! <3 As I said before, its been a great day! Very eventful and fruitful! I'd do it all over again if I could! xD

I just recovered from what I suspect to be food poisoning...quite an experiance really. I woke up on Monday and started to feel really uncomfortable. My stomach really cramped up and I ended up lying in bed from 4pm all the way till 9am Tuesday morning. I felt really thirsty so I had to have this jug of water beside the bed. Not only that, sometime at night I threw up once too. I actually felt much better after that. My stomach felt more 'calm'.

Anyway, other then that ordeal, my week's been fairly normal. I still can't believe Xmas is just around the corner! Time really flies so very fast these days!

Today(Friday) should be another relaxing day. I have to wake up at like 8am to meet my godfather at 9am for breakfast though....I wonder how dead I'll be feeling, waking up so early LOL

I was suppose to be sleeping, or at least trying to sleep, from about 2am...but I've been having so much fun with my little sister, chatting, joking and laughing away and checking out new songs that I forgot the time LOL ^^ Oh well I think I'll end the entry here for today...Will post again hopefully later today after breakfast!

Illusion

I've been running through my material for performing magic..and its been months since I practiced any of the tricks. I've decided to persue it again. =) So I gotta get to work, smoothening out my skills lol It will be so cool to do some street magic soon! \m/

Anyway, Dreamze's heading down here tomorrow for another bunking over session lol That should be pretty fun, playing cards, jamming on the guitar and watching movies, bumming around lol =D

Mei Mei is finally back online after so many months! Really missed her! <3 Oooo I need to take more pics of Sissy and Crystal! Oh yeah that reminds me, Sissy is like not afraid of watch! She's a water cat or something. She actually dips her entire two front paws into the mini pond in our house, to play with the fishes! She accidentally killed one of the tiny fishes though, but its fun to watch her play with em LoL. When they see Sissy coming, they always hide at the furthest side of the pond, away from her so Sissy has to walk around. xD I won't be surprised if she jumps into the pond one day...she is getting there soon I think, at the rate this is going lol.

Here I am, sitting at my computer, mentally exausted from 3 days of full-day activity. It's been physically tiring at times but it has been a ton of fun every step of the way and I certainly would do it all over again if I could! =D

Dreamze bunked over at my place since Wednesday and we had Shue Ting, as well as Wan Xing and one of their school mates, Maggie. For the first time, I had 4 people bunking over simultaneously lol Interesting experiance and definitely worthwhile since it was fun! Dreamze and I, in an attempt to be gentlemanly, slept in the living room, on the couch/sofa chair while the girls took my room. Surprisingly, the living room is pretty darn comfortable! As long as the ceiling fan is blasting over me, its all good! xD

Met my angel today, at long last!! There were about 8 of us in all, including Dreamze, Jolene and myself. We met at HarbourFront this morning at about 10am-ish and attempted to spend the morning/afternoon at Sentosa, but it was pouring rain in buckets so we all caught a movie instead, which turned out to be VERY AWESOME! We saw "Step Up"! The dancing is SO wicked! The dancing at the end was kind of like a fusion of ballet and hip hop. It was SO cool to watch! I wish I could dance like that! xP LOL!

After the movie, we grabbed lunch at Subway. I had the meatball maranera (I forgot how you spell it) and its the EXACT same sandwich Joey had in the show 'Friends' LOL So sue me for being a major 'Friends' fanatic! xD

Apart from Dreamze and myself, the other guys took leave and so Dreamze and I accompanied the girls to check out Vivo city. We browsed Candy Empire the longest I think LOL There are so many different candies to choose from! The saying sure pans out: "A kid loose in a candy store". We checked out some shoe stores too and just walked around some. Eventually, it got to about 4:45pm so we all called it a day and Dreamze and I headed back to the house. He's snoozing now so yeah I'm just chilling out at the computer lol I was so exausted in the morning but for some reason I'm pretty wide awake at the moment. I'm really psyched about having met Jolene at long last though I must admit! We've known each other for about a year now I think...yeah about a year! And today we finally get to hang out, and not in front of our respective computer screens xD

Anyway, I'm currently listening to this New Age album by "Loreena McKennitt". Its folk-sy too. She has such a soothing voice, which reminds me of Enya. =) Her music is so soothing...especially now, when I'm just chilling out all the way.

Hey everyone! Man its been SO long since I last posted....I'm still considering buying the domain www.kieranedwards.com to make my own site cum blog. Buying the domain and uploading data and everything is easy...but designing it is going to be a pain =x I love how I can use it to display my music though!

I will get the site down soon and I will announce it here once its ready! =D

Anyway, Dreamze and I met up today to mess around on our guitars. Was cool! We really worked up a song just nice xD Still working on the finer details and adjusting it a little here and there but generally its fantastic! *two thumbs up*

Mom and I are putting up the Xmas tree later today and Sissy is going to be running around like crazy lol. Early on, when Mom put her to bed, she didn't even complain. She's probably sleeping like a log right now, after such a long day of running up and down lol

Really looking forward to meeting Nicolette hopefully next week! Gonna do some fun exploring! xD

I'll stop here for today....OH YEAH!! Got some new music and I believe Mitch Hedburg's latest stand-up comedy album! He's my favourtite stand-up comic! LoL So lame that its actually funny xD

Met The HabboSoup Gang!

Today was fantastic! I really enjoyed myself and a LOT more then I had originally anticipated! We had a whole group of people come today! I got to meet the HabboSoup gang for the first time and it was really comfortable! It was so refreshing for me, a refresing change from being behind the computer screen all day and night. I think I'm a little red from the sun though, but its more then worth it! LoL xD

The day started at 9am where we all met at HarbourFront MRT station. It took about an hour before everyone showed up, then we headed to the bus terminal to board the Sentosa Bus!

We made our way to Siloso Beach and found a vacant umbrella spot right in front. We had such good fortune eh! We loosened up, and some went to change to "fun gear" and swim gear and just messed around! Fallenx brought a volleyball which we played with. That was really fun lol. I even fell once, trying to hit the ball before it fell to the ground! Not bad man! I managed it! Got sand in my pants though but no big deal LOL xD

Ferdy and I whipped out our guitars and jammed some too! Orangesoda whipped out her PSP! Not fair man! LOL She had such cool digital entertainment!! xD

We got thirsty after some time so I went to get drinks for some of the gang who were around at the time, so I asked them what they wanted....In the end, orange soda for Orangesoda!! LOL And same for Jerz and BreadCrumbs! I got myself a water and refilled at one of the taps after I ran out...free water..just that its not cold but doesn't matter =D

After the beach, we headed back to mainland and went to Vivo City for lunch! We met Serena A.K.A Chillipeppa at Vivo and she joined us for lunch!

Let me state right here and now...

I am NEVER going to Vivo City during the weekend EVER again!!

It was SO crowded!! We took 15 minutes in the queue just to order a drink!! It is a real wonder how we managed to buy food too LOL

All in all, it was one helluva great day!! I believe everyone had a great time!! The gang headed to Orchard I believe, but I didn't join them as I had to head back to check on Sissy.

Sissy Edwards

Today's been a great day! I started it off early, at about 9am. Mom and I went to get out haircuts and Mom got her hair dyed as well. We had breakfast at the hair saloon again, because the two aunties working there (who happen to be sisters) like to buy us food and stuff so they bought us breakfast xD I had a microwaved pie and a big gulp, from 7-eleven! Mom got a pie as well, and a hot latte!

After all that, we headed to Serangoon to scout around for pet shops. We headed to Serangoon Central but no luck. We found a pretty big aquarium though but nothing for "dry" house pets. We tried to head down to Serangoon North Ave 1 (I think thats the name) but we couldn't find parking space so Mom said "Forget about it, we'll just head straight down to SPCA".

When we got to the SPCA, we went to the cattery and all the cats and kittens were meowing and Mom and I wanted to take them ALL home!! Of course we can't but we really wanted to! I saw this kitten in a cage on the corner and I stretched my hand out to sort of mingle with her (turned out to be a girl xD). She stretched one of her paws out and gave me either a high five (high paw) or a handshake (pawshake). It was really cute! She had a sister in the same cage too, from the same litter, and they were just lying down together, chilling out. She meowed softly at us too. We asked the SPCA attendant if we could carry her and all and she gladly obliged. She took the kitten out and we played with her some. Mom asked her if she wanted to come home with us and I believe she meowed again too! We took her in the end! =D Her original name given was "Celina" but we changed it to "Sissy". My neighbour has a cat called "Missy" which is how we got the idea for "Sissy".

Sissy is 3 months old. very loving, and I think just loves being around people. My grandmother was saying to my mom that when she went to the kitchen to prepare her dinner, Sissy followed her to the kitchen and back! And just 5minutes ago, I saw her follow my grandmother into the bathroom lol.

I have two pics of her that I took from my phone, hence the terrible quality. I will take LOADS of pics of her with my camera in the days to come. For now, however, here are the 2 shots I took with my phone!

Religion Being The Cause Of Trouble....Yet Again

Before I start my entry, let me give a friendly warning that this post is not 100% friendly. My intentions in this entry are in NO way meant to offend ANYONE. These are my own opinions and reflect nobody elses. I am an atheist, therefore my stand is as such. I have nothing against religion and have nothing but the highest respect for all my friends' and everyone else's beliefs.

I just read in today's "Straits Times", that a muslim woman who teaches in a British school in England was suspended for refuses to remove her veil when inside the school premises. The woman explained that she took off the veil in class but wore it in front of men. The school THEN claimed that her statement, "wearing the veil in front of men", is gender discrimination.

On a seperate note, a Christian woman who just completed training as a stewardess with British Airways (BA), was asked to remove her cross when working. She intends to sue BA for religious discrimination.

what bugs me about the above two scenes, is how religion is always being the cause of problems. Look at the Pope for example. Recently, he said some things about the muslim religion and the muslim religious leaders got angry about it.

My Beliefs:

I believe in doing what is right in life, following rules, and being the best that I can be.

If I make mistakes and commit wrongdoing, I am fully responsible. I learn from my actions and ensure they do not reoccur.

The most important unit in life is family.

I respect everyone's beliefs and I feel strongly that we all have the right to believe in what we desire and to feel what we wish. I have Christian friends. I have Muslim friends. I have Hindu friends. I have Buddhist friends. I have friends of all sorts. However, I just cannot help being baffled by how some human beings in this world are so enveloped in a belief that they make it their whole life, hurting and even killing others in the process. It is also so annoying and pissing off to have a religious person condemn you just because you do not believe in what he does. It is a free world!! I respect your beliefs so it is only fair that you respect mine as well. =)

On a lighter note, I think Buddhism is cool. It isn't so much a religion as it is a way of life. I can't follow it even if my life depended on it LOL but it is very fascinating nonetheless. If you notice, you don't see buddhists killing people and starting wars or trying to create a revolution. You don't see Buddhists running around with Holy scriptures, trying to convert people. They welcome you if you choose to join them or to find out more.

There is a more religious side to it, like Taoism, I believe. I may not be 100% correct in my facts so I won't try to say much but I still think it is cool to see how people are able to meditate for like an hour or more at one go. I'd sit for five minutes and get leg cramps man LOL

Anyway, who knows how this world is going to end up. Innocent people getting killed for no good reason and such. I just hope that one day we can all find peace. I mean if you think about it, we're all in this one planet called "Earth" so we might as well put our differences aside and work together to make this one helluva awesome place don't you think? I know its "far-fetched" but hell, its a nice idea eh! =)

I've not updated for so long!! Sorry folks! Here is a quickie before I head to bed! Its been almost 2 months since Roxy disappeared and we still do miss her. However, Crystal doesn't have a little sister anymore so today Mom and I went on the Cat Welfare Society adoption page and we contacted them about a kitten they had up there for adoption! We are waiting for the foster parents to contact us and arrange for a meet-up so we can meet this little kitten. Crystal will have another little sister soon! =D

I'm still waiting to get the 2nd generation iPod shuffle! Oh yeah! I've been into the harmonica lately! I never could appreciate it before, but recently, after being reinstroduced to it, I checked out some videos on youtube and I started to really appreciate the instrument again! Like the guitar, you can take the harmonica anywhere and just play it! The harmonica and guitar together sound awesome! I'm hoping to be able to play the harmonica decently at the very least, so I can incorporate the harmonica into my music, together with my guitar! I wanna play stuff like Bob Dylan and Neil Young!

Neil Young's "Heart Of Gold" is the first song I plan to learn how to play! I've been reading up on websites about how you hold the harmonica, blow/draw and I had a look through some harmonica "notations" which are basically numbers with "B" and "D" attached for blowings and drawing respectively. The song is played on a diatonic harmonica which has 10 holes and are labelled 1 to 10. The notations basically just tell you which hole to blow/draw from, similar to how guitar tablature works. It's awesome!

I really hope I can pull it off! LoL Will do my best! I ordered a new diatonic harmonica (Hohner Blues Band) from eBay which should arrive soon! Once it does, I can start practicing! =D Will keep everyone posted here on my progress! Ciao!~

There is this movie called "World Trade Centre" which is a remake of the events that occured on September 11th. It's really sad and very moving at the same time. I saw the trailer heh. I don't know if I want to watch the actual movie though. I might give it a try.

It is SO hard to work on the forum when the server goes down and up every 5 minutes. Lynda has 4 more days after which, if the server still has daily downtime, I am prepared to nag again. =x

On a lighter note, the forum is really whipping into shape nicely. lol We've done up the icons for "New Posts" and "No Posts" for the main page, left column. Also, we've done up a 'favicon' for the address bar. It really looks professional with a favicon. xD I gotta get me one for my own website once I buy it! Another reason why I'm reluctant to buy it now, due to the constant downtime on the server. It is insane I tell ya. =l Well as I said above, lets just hope it doesn't manifest into something worse. Heh =p

I'm currently chatting with Mei and Dreamze on skype...very relaxing morning! We are most probably gonna be working on the forum again, to get it shaped up for its opening!

The server issues we're having has really started to bug me....I nagged at Lynda a bunch of times over SMS and Email to the point that I actually feel really bad...but lets put it this way...if you run a webhosting server that is down almost every other night for hours on end, you may as well not run one at all right?

She says she's moving us to a new server so we really hope this will resolve the issue PERMANENTLY. =)

Get this, Mom comes home from an afternoon out with her best friend, and she calls me to her room saying "I wanna show you something" and when I go over to see what she has, it turns out Mom bought these ear studs for me to wear (One at a time of couse >xD)! I mean I know she's a modern Mom but wah..its so weird O.O LOL Its like a metal ball for the stud. Never worn anything like that before. I put it on and well, I think for me anyway,it takes a little getting used to. I asked Mom for her opinion (Dunno why I did that but yeah) and she says it looks ok. She claims she's seen some people wearing it outside....So I guess I'll wear this off and on then lol It doesn't look bad really..just sorta different xD Its shiny which helps when walking around outside. Keeps the "roundness" of the stud from really showing.

Forgive me if I spell "Geylang" wrong. I suddenly can't remember how its spelt so yeah LOL

Anyway, I just got home from dinner with Mom and 3 of her office buddies. We all drove down to Geylang to eat a supposedly famous beef hor fun and frogs legs porridge or something. I just ate the hor fun though xD Finding a place to park was quite an adventure. I drove through a couple of the small back alleys and such, and at one point, we saw a group of these girls prolly there awaiting "customers". I was like "Wah *looks at the girls" coz they were really hot! I can't exactly remember how they looked like but they were hot I can tell you that for sure! I didn't get a chance to look carefully though coz Mom went "Oi watch the road la! Dun look at the girls!" LOL And we all laughed xD I think like 5 or 10% of road accidents must occur due to a male driver noticing a gorgeous woman on the side of the street or something, and doesn't focus on where he is going LOL

Anyway, time to kick back and relax (as I always do! xD )! Will post again tomorrow or something! Night! =D

Mom and I spent the afternoon together. I managed to wake up at 11 so we headed out for lunch. We ended up at Toa Payoh and ate at this huge airconditioned food court. Mee Pok for both of us xD Mee Pok rocks! \m/

Before we had lunch, we actually headed down to Phillips, their office building nearby, to redeem a free gift. Anyway, after all that, we headed down to this row of flower/pond accesories shops at, I think, Thompson Road, if I'm not wrong. We had to drive around a few times, park and move the car a couple times when going from one shop to another lol. In fact, at one point, we were driving for about 15minutes and Mom suddenly said "oh shit! My seatbelt!" LOL She forgot to put it on alamak. Thank goodness there weren't any traffic police officers nearby or I would have gotten a fine + demerit points =x Tarnish my still squeaky clean driving record lol Was a fun day all in all!

My order from amazon.com, for this CD from a band called RED, titled "End Of Silence", has just been shipped! Finally! I don't buy CDs from amazon.com normally. I usually buy them in Singapore. I just couldn't wait because the songs are SO cool! The CD was released on the 6th of June so its not in Singapore yet. xD

Gonna enjoy a nice relaxing beef stew dinner later and watch a couple episodes of Friends with dinner =)

I really am worried about Nicolette. I know she's strong. I know she will definitely overcome her pain eventually. I just can't stand seeing her like this, and what's worse, I can't do anything to help ease her suffering. Time can pass really fast at times but can be so darned slow when it comes to healing a person. If only we were able to move on in a split second.

If I could make her smile from the inside for just a moment, that would be so awesome. I love her so very much and she means the absolute most to me! I just really feel so bad that I can't do anything to create that smile inside of her! If I could take all her hurt, throw that away, and replenish her heart with happiness, joy and relief, I SO would! I want to do that so badly! I know I can only do so much, that I can only be there for her as best as I can, and rest assure I will be! I just want to do SO much more for my little sister!

I'm just sitting around, waiting for her to come online. Man, I really hope she got a good rest last night and that she's feeling a WHOLE lot better! <3333333333333333333 Nicolette is one helluva girl who lights up any room she walks into! She deserves nothing but the best of the best! Absolute happiness and all the love in the world!

I just got back home, from dinner with Nicolette, QingWen, Ray and Fabian, and I accompanied Mei-Mei to her MRT stop! =D It has been a WICKED 2 days!! We had LOADS of laughs and TONS of fun! Lets go back in time shall we? ;)

It all started at 12pm on Monday (June 5th). Mei-Mei and I met up at HarbourFront so she could come by my place to drop off some of her stuff, to lighten her load. It was funny, cause when I arrived (Nicolette purposely came earlier then me! >=O LOL xD ), I couldn't find her at the station control so I called and Mei-Mei said she'd come down to meet me as she went up the escalator to wait instead. As it turned out, I totally walked past her on my way down to the control station but we didn't see each other! LOL Alamak! xD

Anyway, we made it back to my place, chilled for a little bit and then headed down to Bugis to meet Fadhilah (Vic!) and Fabian (MHB!) ! We met Fadhilah first and walked around the shops some. We walked past this eyeglass shop and they had this picture of the Paul Frank monkey and instantly Mei-Mei and I pointed at it and got all excited about recognising it! LOL xD Fabian came an hour after the scheduled meeting time which was set to 1pm and gave us a shock when we went up an escalator to go find him...bleardy cheeky fella LOL xD When deciding where to go for lunch, we settled for the food court since KFC was so crowded. Fabian got rice and I got noodles...the best part is, I went around at first, looking for Nic and Fadhilah...I couldn't find them so I proceeded to get my food anyway. I returned to my seat, with my beef ball noodles and guess what Mei-Mei and Fadhilah bought! KFC! xD So yummy! They had original chicken and cheese fries! Fabian and I were like " *drools* =O~~~ " LOOL The plan for that afternoon, was for me and Fabian to go watch X-Men while Nic and Fadhilah went around the mall and then we all meet up once the movie is over, since Fabian was really keen to watch it. Unfortunately, the movie timings were not in favour of us that day so we scratched that idea and all went around the mall together! Nicolette introduced us to this COOL old-school arcade where you win tickets at the games and trade them for prizes at the counter! It was hilarious especially at this one game with one stage where you had to hit the buttons in rythm to the computer and if you did well, your afro hairstyle grew larger! LOOOL After all that action-packed fun, we walked around the mall a little more and stopped by a Mos Burger for drinks and a light snack. We ordered a pack of fries and before the fries got settled on the table, Fabian was SO fast to whack the fries! LOL He musta been hungry la I guess! xD We went back into the mall and went up a few levels to the NeoPrint machines and took some really fun cool pictures together! Mei-Mei and I took this picture together that was REALLY impromptu and totally spontaneous! I was supposed to be snapping the picture with Fabian but while the machine was counting down, he didn't come into the screen in time so Mei-Mei rushed in and we snapped this SUPER COOL shot! I'll try to upload it somehow! xD !! Its REALLY cool!! After that, Fadhilah said she wanted to buy this one CD by McFly so we embarked on this mission to find a shop that sold it! Needless to say, we succeeded! Mission Accomplished! xD We travelled to The Heeren and found the CD there after trying CityHall's HMV! It was definitely a job VERY well done! xD Fadhilah had to head home after that as it was getting late by then, 6pm+.

Nicolette, Fabian and I decided to head back too, and whack our shepard's pie!! xD SOOO delicious!! We had Ray and QingWen join us at night, in time for dinner, so we all ate together and just chilled! Mei-Mei and I watched Judging Amy!! We really love that show!! Amy and her Mom, Maxine, are REALLY strong characters! After having dinner and chilling for a bit, we all decided to be adventurous! Mei-Mei and I hung by the computer and burned 2 discs, that we put in the car, which we blasted when we drove down to the airport! We were going to have supper there but their dishes were close to $10 a set! So expensive!! In the end, we drove back and stopped by this Indian 24-hour stall along the roadside and had prata! xD The car was low on petrol so we stopped by the petrol station for a top-up and also headed down to 7-11 for ice-cream and some snacks. Ray and QingWen bought these liquid candy things that taste SOOOO sour! They were REALLY helpful later in the morning when Mei-Mei and I were battling to stay awake! A squirt or two in your mouth really gives you that kick! LOL Ray and I messed on the guitar for a bit, when we got back, and this time around, we all had these 2 balls to play with. They're really funky! LOL They have these lights inside them that start flashing crazily when you shake the balls. The light stays flashing as long as the ball is in motion. Since it was night time, we decided to turn off all the lights in the room, and pass the ball around. The only light in the room, came from the ball. It was like some disco! LOL xD It is amazing the things we can do for fun! xD Mei-Mei and I played with these domino pieces I had from years back. It's a really ancient-looking set but still in 100% awesome condition! We tried arraging them in patterns and hitting one to make the rest fall. It takes 10minutes to set up and 1-2seconds to watch the "show". We got tired of it after a while, and watching the other 3 guys all snoring away really got to us and they influenced us, making us sleepy too! In the end, we all got a little rest.

Mei-Mei and I were up mostly, we had some tea and we just chilled in the room, waiting for the sleepyheads to wake up! We were SO hungry and were planning to order KFC! We had to wait for almost 3hours for the sleepyheads to "barely" wake up! When we finally woke them up, we ordered this HUGE massive feast which consisted of 16 pieces of Crispy chicken, 2 large pop corn chickens, 9-piece nuggets, 2 medium coleslaw/mash postatoes. We were about ready to explode after eating all that chicken! Mei-Mei and I swore never to eat chicken for a LONG time to come! SOOOO full man! LOL xD Right after eating, we all headed back into the room and the guys fell asleep again!! The air-con was SO comfortable and put that together with the picture of a bunch of sleepy guys, and Mei-Mei and I couldn't help but feel SUPER sleepy! We all had such a lazy day LOL

Nicolette had a hard time trying to awaken the sleepyheads when 6pm came. They had been snoozing since 1pm and we wanted to go out and also grab some dinner outside. The guys got up EVENTUALLY la LOL We all went to HarbourFront and had dinner at the food court.

It's been an AWESOME RAWKING PWNING 2 days! If I could do it again, I definitely, without a doubt, would!! I think I'm gonna sleep earlier tonight! Gotta head to CMPB tomorrow morning as well! =D

We can only run so far, from our fears. I guess sometimes we have to turn around and face them head on. We have to make sacrifices sometimes, but there is so much more awaiting us in the future that we can look forward to =) It just really makes a whole lotta sense, these lyrics, doesn't it! Sometimes, its hard to define whats going on, it seems like a big mess that nobody will ever be able to untangle. It is only when we look fear in the eye and challenge it, that we see what we have always been longing to find. It has always been right there but we've been so busy running from it that we never stopped to try and understand instead.

SengKang Adventure!

Nicolette and I met up at SengKang MRT and met up with this girl to make payment and collect a hoodie from! xD Mei-Mei looks SO great in it!! Really stylo!! And best of all, it looks REALLY snuggly! It fit on Mei-Mei like a glove! xD

After meeting up with the girl, we went for lunch at KFC! Been sooooo long since I last had good tasty fried chicken! We really enjoyed the food! AND! Mei-Mei bought an extra mash potatoe for her Dad and Ruddy (AKA RMK)! =D We LOVE the mash potatoes! Its SO yummy!! After eating, Mei-Mei showed me around the mall since it was my first time in that part of Singapore LOL xD Its an awesome place! I told mom about all the shops that we went to! Mei-Mei and I checked out shops from furniture, bouncing on the sofas, to the cheap cheap $2 shop and the CD shop (Sembawang)! We also browsed through Cold Storage! xD

Time flew and it was already 4:30ish by that time so we had to head home...I'm really REALLY looking forward to June!! Its gonna be TONS of fun!!! =D The day ended awesomely with a hug! My sis PWNS man!!! xD <33333333333333333333333

Ahhh my posts are getting further and further apart LOL I must must must post more often!!! xD

Mom and I went out for dinner just now! We went to Turf City and ate Tepanyaki! SOOOOOO nice!!! xD Went to GIANT after that and did quite a bit of shopping too! Got me a new jar of PB* and some tins of curry Tuna! xD Mei-Mei and I are fast becoming PB fanatics! Just plain bread and PB never tasted SO good! LOOL

Oh yeah! Paid for the bracelet for Mei-Mei today too!! I really hope this girl delivers the bracelet before she goes overseas. She said she's going to be out of town today so I'm really hoping she does the delivery before flying off or going to wherever she's going, so my sister can get her bracelet faster! =D

Later at 2pm, Mei-Mei and I are gonna meet up for lunch!! She's gonna get herself a new hoodie too =P So cool right! xD Stylo milo! LOL =P

I think we (or at least for me) should sleep earlier tonight or else we'll end up waking up at like 4pm LOL Can't wait for later! Gonna be fun!! =D !!

I am SO going to slack tomorrow! Mom said to me "I'm gonna take the entire week off next week so you better enjoy this week! >=) " Cause I told her "Mom everytime you're home, there is always so much going on! Cannot relax!" LOL And mom was like "Thanks ah" xD So this is her revenge I guess =P

Anyways, I had a REALLY good sleep today! I woke up at 3ish and the moment I opened my eyes, the first thing that popped into my mind was "Chat with Nicolette!!" Hadn't seen her in two days! Really missed my little sister!! xD

I hope Julie's doing ok! Haven't spoken to her in a couple days now..last we spoke, she was having a bit of a hard time...Hopefully all is well now! =D

Check-Up Almost Complete!

As I write this entry, I have a heart rate monitor wired on me, consisting of 7 electrodes stuck on various points on my chest and a box that the wires are connected which gathers the information. I have to wear this overnight.

Well I survived today's check-up. It started with the blood test and then I had this Echo test thingy which basically is an ultrasound just like what pregnant ladies go for. I felt like a pregnant woman for that brief time, lying on the table LOL xDD

It was after the Echo thingy that I had to have this monitor strapped on me. Anyway, later at 8ish in the morning I'm gonna head down to return the equipment. =)

This morning, Mei-Mei and I had SO MUCH FUN!! LMAO We were imagining staying at the only 7-Star hotel in the UAE!! OMG It is FANTASTIC!! We imagined the SCG staying there on holiday!! The hotel will rumble baybeh!!! xDD Check this out, the hotel gives you a LAPTOP to use with full internet connection, cable television for cable channels, a PLASMA TV to watch with, your OWN PERSONAL butlers, a BAR and MORE!! Its insane!!! That is SOOOO the life!!

Mei-Mei and I were also picturing typical scenes with the SCG on holiday or travelling somewhere together LOOOOL I was laughing my bumm off during our convo!! It was SOOO funny!! xDD

We're also trying to plan out stuff we can do!! We're pscyed on a BBQ inclusive of a stayover of course!! And more!! It is gonna be a BLAST!!! xDD If the SCG can come over for New Years in December, we can all usher in the brand new year TOGETHER!! As the SCG!! BOOOOYAAAAHHH!!!! \m/ !!! xDD

We're having so much fun that time has, once again, FLOWN into another dimension! It's already 6am!! Man!!! >.< !!!! Well, I'm SO looking forward to seeing Mei-Mei tonight for another FUN convo!! Been chatting with Mei-Mei and somehow time flew! I swear I thought it was 2am! Or 2:30 at most but its 4:30! Its incredible how time seemingly speeds off when you are having fun!! xDD

I'm planning to wake up a little earlier then usual later...I kinda doubt I'll make it though LOL I want to wake up by about 1ish or maybe 2pm....I never succeed but this time I'll try again! xDD

Oh yeah I almost forgot, I've been meaning to rip some songs off my MLTR CD to the com...they REALLY bring back memories of when I was a kid xDD I especially love a song from them called "Something Right". It has been some time since I last blogged LoL...

Tonight..or this morning rather, has been really fun AND funny! Mei-Mei and I were trying to come up with catchy taglines for Habz radio and we ended up playing with one that goes like this "Great music, Habz music!!" and we edited both our voices to sound like chipmunks LOOOL xDD It's SO fun!! Of course, Mei-Mei had a bit of an ear ache after playing the track over and over again LOL The high pitchy-ness does get to you after a while LOOL xDD

I was actually kinda sleepy in the evening when I came home from the recording today (which went really well!) but after Mei-Mei came online and we had our AWESOME conversation AND!! she DJed today!! I was SOOO wide awake from then on!! LOOOL xDD Up until now, I'm wide awake!! =D !!

Black Hawk Down

I was browsing around YouTube yesterday. On the front page, one of the featured videos was this movie done by these two brothers about a light sabre duel...and the action was AWESOME!! What really captured me though, was the music behind it. I posted a comment asking what tracks they used, and as it turned out, it was from the soundtrack of the movie "Black Hawk Down". The song, in particular, is called "Gortoz A Ran - J'Attends". It isn't in english and it is sort of like a chant...I would classify it as new age I think...it is one BEAUTIFUL song, if you know how to appreciate it! =D It kinda reminds me of Enya's music in a way...

Whenever I hear this song, I think about lotsa stuff...I think about the past...the present...and I wonder what the future holds. I guess the future is something we never can and never will be able to predict. Imagine...imagine being able to predict what happens in the future...Life would be so dull I think...I guess its one of the beautiful things about life...its unpredictability. =)

I am not sure why, but out of all the things I could possibly do, I suddenly took out my guitar, searched for the tabs for the John Mayer song "Your body is a wonderland" and started trying to play it!! xDD Its a beautiful song to play!! The lyrics are a little..uh...well you know LOL but the music is beautiful!! =D

Anyway, I'm just chilling out....OH YEAH!! I was playing with my camera just now too! Tried to take pictures of the lights from my balcony...but both with and without flash, turns out terrible =X I guess dark photos are very tricky to take LOL

Wizard Of Oz

The practice today went pretty well! I found out the musical the students are gonna be doing is a remake of "The Wizard Of Oz"! I really like the ending song! I have the tracks on CD to practice with, I think I'll upload that track for everyone to hear! =D

Right now my tummy is grumbling LOL Waiting for dinner to be ready! Tomorrow is TGIF!!!! I can't wait to see Mei-Mei tonight for another fun chat!! xDD Last night's chat was SOOO funny!! We were talking about "Mental Park" and about us doing a "Cinderalla" remake with the SUPER DUPER COOL GANG in it!! xDD We sure can come up with really weird yet SUPER fun ideas!! xDD I think its a brother/sister thing where we have REALLY active imaginations! She has a really good point...about movies....they cut all the REALLY good parts!! Even parts that are not explicit get cut out! Singapore is SOOOO strict...Don't play play LOOOL xDD Oh well...it has its good and bad points I guess!

I am SO curious to know what kind of musical is gonna be held this year in SFMS and what kinda songs I'm gonna be helping to sing xD Hopefully it'll be something...romantic maybe? Or rather, something powerful! The musical I participated in when I was in school was a comedy and it was like... "Buck Buck Golden Chicken" LOL Must be something like Romeo And Juliet..now THAT would be cool!! xDD

Why does the weekend past so fast?!?!?!

Sent Mei-Mei and Ray off at HarbourFront just now, came home and had a shower, and here I am, thinking about the past 2 days' events...It was TONS of fun!!! It was really a shame that Fabian couldn't join us but the weekend was jammed pack with fun!!

Here's a description of the AWESOME RAWKING weekend we all had!!!! xD

The weekend started with me meeting Mei-Mei at 12 and we dropped by my place so she could unpack some of her things to loosen up her load. I had planned to "display" my present for her on the sofa where she'd see it the moment she opened my room door. She wondered at the control station whether it would be a good idea to just head straight to CityHall without stopped by my place, and I was thinking "Uh oh..my plan!" So I sort of suggested that we should drop by anyway since we had lots of time.(Which we did! =D)

I hadn't mentioned birthday presents or anything even remotely close to Nicolette over the past 2 weeks when in fact I had her present all set 2 weeks ago! I wanted to really surprise her and I think when she saw her present, it was a pretty cool surprise! <333333333333333333 xDD Mei-Mei said she almsot got me the EXACT same present for my birthday!! Like brother like sister eh!! xDD <3333333333333333333333

We headed down to CityHall and met Fadhilah at about 1-ish! OH YAH!!! Nicolette and I need to buy 4D!!! LOOOOOOOOOL When walking from my place, along this little stretch of road to get to the main road, we found not 1...not 2...but THREE red $10 notes right on the floor!! $30 right there for the taking!! Mei-Mei was SOOOOOOO cute going "Is it real?!?" And she held the notes up to the sky to check and see if they were perhaps specimen notes used in advertisements Hehehehe xDD but it turned out they were the REAL deal! Legit $10 notes!! What a way to start the day eh!! xDD !! We went to Swensens at Funan for lunch together once we met up with Fadhilah as well! Nicolette had the Salmon and Mushroom Baked Rice, Fadhilah had Fish and Chips and I had the Chicken Baked Rice!! We tried to wait for Mr Fabian but unfortunately he wasn't able to join us so the three of us dug in first! We were really hungry by then! Hehehe xDD After lunch, the 3 of us walked around a little, to pass the time till Ray and Qing Wen arrived which was about an hour and a half later! We took a couple of pics and had refreshments courtesy of 7-11! xDD When it was close to the meeting time, we headed back to CityHall, took the escalator up to Raffles City and sat outside, I think it was Coffee Bean. It was either Coffee Bean or Starbucks! LOL After only 10minutes or so, the 3 of us started yawning one by one! LOOL We were SOOO comfortable!! Ray and QingWen eventually came and met us at that coffee place we were chilling at!!

We decided to be a little adventurous, and since Fadhilah had to be home by 6-ish, we took the train all together, down to Simei and checked out the mall there! Went to a pet store and window shopped around the place! It is a really awesome place I gotta admit! My very first time being in that part of Singapore LOL =P

After sending Fadhilah off, we decided to head back to the house and chill a little before dinner! Mom made Chicken Curry and "stuff" (Vietnamese Spring Rolls) LOOL =P The stuff! xDD We ate the feast and spent some time in my room, digesting the dinner! Still feeling adventurous, we decided to go for a walk, also hoping to give Mei-Mei the chance to take some awesome night-time pictures! We walked to a "nearby" 7-11 store, got some snacks, slurpees and drinks and just chilled outside. The way we all sat at the curb, considering there were pubs just around, it seemed like we all had a little too much to drink and we were sitting around on the curb trying to get fresh air LOOOOL xDD

We made it back to the house and then went for a drive to Labrador Park! We checked out the view, walked out as far as the Jetty and took in the sights AND the sounds! xD Mei-Mei tried to take some pics there which I think were AWESOME!! xDD She took this one photograph of a tree which came out SO NICELY!! =D It had a really mysterious, spooky yet cool feel to it!!

Feeling a little hot, we headed down to West Coast Park and had supper at McDonalds!! We messed around on the playground as well!! The obstacle courses RAWK!! The one thing though, I find, is that its SO not fun doing them when you are alone! You HAVE to be with friends to REALLY have fun!! xDD

As we were hanging out at West Coast Park, we were also trying to decide where else to go since it was only about 2 or 3am at the time! Mei-Mei suggested Changi Airport and to Changi Airport we went!!! xDD It was a great drive! We all got to relax in the car and I believe Mei-Mei, Ray and QingWen got to enjoy the passing lights and the soothing music playing, courtesy of Gold 90.5FM!! I know I did!! =D

For a busy airport, Changi Airport was REALLY empty at 3am! We parked at Terminal 1 and proceeded in! We were hoping to take the Sky Train to terminal 2 but the operating hours were long past so we grabbed some drinks (and Ray got himself a $2 cookie!) at a bistro/cafe just beside the Sky Train entrance!

After journeying through Changi Airport Terminal 1, we headed home to rest. Everyone was feeling bushed by the time we got home! The funny thing, however, was that once we freshened up and started relaxing, we were suddenly so awake!! LOOOOL Weird huh!
Nicolette was really bushed though so she managed to get in about 2 hours snoozing while Ray and I talked nonsense LOOOL We all got up in the end at about 4ish to watch some TV and then we soon tried to get back to sleep again.

QingWen had to leave early in the morning unfortunately but Mei-Mei, Ray and I had an awesome time still!! We went to Harbourfront for brunch/lunch, had chicken rice (WITH LOTSA CHILLI!!) and headed over to Plaza Singapura to browse around the shops!

Today, being Sunday, was a very relaxing one! After PS, we headed back to the house and just bummed around till dinner! Ray and I tried jamming together and Mei-Mei recorded clips of us being silly and crazy LOOOL xDD Ray's gotten into bass which I am fully confident he'll get REALLY good at in no time!

I just cannot believe the weekend is gone!!! It was SOO depressing when we were heading over to HarbourFront just now. All 3 of us were bummed...and we were talking about the next sleepover!! xDD It will probably be in June!! That certainly is something to look forward to!!! =P We were saying how this weekend had made us feel like we were in a world of our own where it was just the group of us and there was no such thing as time or money. It was a perfect world where we just had fun, fun and MORE fun!!! It's always a pain having to snap back into reality. =X Well I am REALLY looking forward to the June Holiday's SleepOver!!! Oh and by the way, my tongue feels SO sore. Nicolette is also experiancing the same tonguey soreness! Mei-Mei and I suspect its the chilli we ate with the chicken rice...that is some REALLY powerful stuff LOL =X It was REALLY delicious!! xDD

QingWen - Despite your injured leg, you still came and joined in the fun! Thanks so much bruddah!! Was wicked fun with you around!!

Ray - Very HARD to get out of bed....But he gave me more time to relax since Mei-Mei was trying to get him up LOOOOL xDD Thanks bruddah!! We had a wicked time over the weekend!! Cheers on that man!! June will RAWK!!!

Nicolette - This weekend is YOUR weekend! The party wouldn't even BE a party without you!! xDD Was TONS of fun!!! Got to see you in action with your camera again!! Tomorrow we PARTAE!!!

Tomorrow is the 8th! There were days in the past week where it felt like forever and sometimes time felt like it flew by but what matters is that the 8th is tomorrow!!! xD

I suddenly have the desire to do a fresh new blogskin...and the desire to write a beautiful song....Maybe soon I'll be able to accomplish just that...I certainly hope so. I have always wanted to be able to write a beautiful song that someone would listen to and tear from. That would be an amazing feat for me. =)

Thinking about tomorrow...wondering whats going to happen...what we're gonna be laughing and joking about...whether anything silly is going to happen...whether anyone is gonna do something or say something memorable or whether we will all get to witness something together that we'd be talking about for weeks and months to come!

It certainly is funny how music can make us feel certain ways. It can make us mellow...forgiving...angry...apologetic...and so much more! It is the little things like this that we don't quite notice...The finer things in life, as some might say. =)

Maybe tomorrow night we'll all get to go up to Kent Ridge park and take the seats at the top peak and just chill there with the beautiful out-stretched view...that would be awesome! At the same time, we'd run around the huge playground area at West Coast Park! That'll be barrels of fun! xD

I just found an old MLTR (Michael Learns To Rock) album...this remix album of all their songs and it really brings back so many memories as I listen to it! The one song from them that brings me way back would be "25 minutes". I remember in primary school where the entire school would sing it together! It was incredible! =D

Found an old Phil Collins CD too! I'm ripping the CDs into my computer! He has great music! Classics, if you will! Some of his songs really bring back memories and they never die off! They truely are classics!

Ok I think i've yakked on and on long enough. LOL Tomorrow AND Sunday will be a BLAST! Will post again on Monday! Ciaaaooooo!!!

I've obtained a few more albums...Got Rascal Flatt's new album which I must say is REALLY nice! They've lotsa great songs! =) I'm not a huge fan of Country music but I must say I enjoy Rascal Flatts and Tim McGraw songs xDD

Tomorrow I've got 3 places to go...First off, I gotta get my mobile bill paid off, then head down to CMPB to apply for 2 LOI (Letters Of Identification) for my 2 appointments (Gah >.< ) and then meet JiaRong for HIS checkup rofl. Its his turn this time xDD

Anyway, I'm just gonna chill the night away with my Mei-Mei and enjoy some good music xDD !! <3333333333333333333333

Heart Check Up

Well today's "Check up" was considerably easy. It is the following appointments that'll kill me I'm sure of it LoL. I have 5 appointments which consist of a blood test, a treadmill run and I have to be fitted with some device thing which i wear OVERNIGHT and then they take it back the next day to study the results from the 24hour recording of my heart rate and whatnot. Insane LOL xDD Oh well....I have the first appointment on the 25th of this month and the 2nd one on the 5th of May. Still a little while to go xDD

Crystal got her yearly injection against all those feline diseases and whatnot. She took it really well! She's kinda...well she's REALLY pissed tonight though LOL Not in the best of moods thats for sure! xDD Mom said the doctor was talking to Crystal and she had no clue that the needle was behind and suddenly *jabb* and finish xDD I didn't get to join them coz I had to park the car and by the time I did that and got into the clinic, they already begun! No queue! xDD

The weather was pretty awesome today! It poured only in the late evening and it drizzling beautifully in the afternoon, keeping the day cool! =D

This is currently the best part of my day, enjoying some soothing music, relaxing and best of all, chatting with my Mei-Mei!!! xDD <333333333333333333333

My Mei-Mei introduced me to this REALLY great group called 'Flipsyde'! Their music is UNIQUE! Its a blend of hip hop, rap, rock...its a beautiful blend of different genres! =D Downloaded a bunch of their songs and share with Mei-Mei and we REALLY enjoy them!! I highly recommend anyone and everyone to check the group out!! xDD !!

Recorded another illusion using the same coin vanishing method but I transformed my 20cents into a little stick of gum, removed the wrapper and ate the gum, then folded the wrapped and disintergrated it into nothingness xDD !! I never realised I'd enjoy magic so much! I'm a total newbie at it but with practice, I'm confident I will soon be able to do a nice array of nifty neat tricks and illusions xDD !!

I've been into magic recently and with the aid of some material I obtained, I'd successfully completed one coin trick so far! I have a bunch of card tricks I'm practicing slowly bit by bit. I wonder if anyone will knock out cold at 9am like how we did during my birthday party LOL Everyone was so energetic throughout the night but once 10am hit, BAM! everyone knocked out cold!! xD !! Can't wait!!!!

I have that stupid heart check-up at the National Heart Centre next Friday which stinks

They are a pretty darned good band! I think the genre is Pop/Rock and they have some really nice songs! "Catch Your Wave" and "Say Goodnight" are some of the songs I really like from them!

I always wondered what it would be like to be out in space...in the darkness surrounded by the light of stars and the moon with nothing else but dark open space...To think we are one plant in a solar system in a galaxy filled with millions of solar systems!! It certainly is awe-inspiring when you think about it. We are so tiny in this vast universe but yet we are so caught up in our everyday lives that we fail to stop and admire the world in all its glory...

PAR-TAE!!!!

Nicolette, Fabian, Ray and Qing Wen stayed over last night!! We had a PAR-TAE!! xDD It was TONS of fun!!! We took pictures and short video clips of us crapping around in the room LOL There was LOTS of laughter and REALLY funny situations!!

We were having dinner in the living room and we were all quiet this instance, Ray say "Sileeenncceeee" in an evil way and then after 2 seconds of silence there was a phone beep *Teetooteetoo* LOOOL It turned out to be Qing Wen's phone, He looked around then he was like "heh heh" and answered his phone xDD!!!

There was a birthday cake and we also had my Godparents and some of Mom's friends over as well! We had around 20 people over for the dinner! xD

After dinner, we hung out in the room and played "The Game Of LIFE"! Fabian was becoming Singapore's very own "Bill Gates", racking up all the cash and the LIFE! tiles! LooooL At the end of the game, however, we ran out of LIFE! tiles in the box and the rules state that we can take tiles from each other so we all started taking the tiles from him and he had I think 2 left from a pile of 8 or so LoL :P

Halfway through the game, I landed in a "trade salary card" area where I could choose to trade. I was holding a 70k salary card and Qing Wen had a 90k card so I was like "AHA! Mr Qing Wen!" And for the next 30min he was all "I want to punch u ah!" towards me LOL =P I lost the card to Fabian a little later on, who eventually lost it to Nicolette and then it went BACK to Qing Wen who was *ahem* grinning from ear to ear LOL...It was such fun!!!! xDD !!!!

I wanted to show everyone Kent Ridge Park which is just behind my place. It has a beautiful view from the top peak so we took a drive up to see it =D After chilling out there for a little bit, we decided to go down to West Coast Park where there's a 24hour Mcdonalds in operation AND the teenager-playground! It has obstacle courses and flying fox stations and everything! After having a light supper in Mcdonalds, we took some group pictures (Which I will place in this post after I get a copy of the pictures from my Sis xD ) and then walked to the playground and went climbing all over the place!! My Sis and I were saying how a guy can get fit going through those obstacles on a daily basis! It isn't any fun without friends though but it can take a lot out of you lol =P

After having a blast at the playground and sweating it out pretty good, we drove back home and hung out by the pool! Unfortunately, Qing Wen and Fabian didn't pack spare clothes so they couldn't join Nicolette, Ray and I in the pool for a VERY cool and relaxing dip! =D Swimming by moonlight is really relaxing! I never realised how much I missed it till we swam. It was my first swim in months! xDD

Before I explain what happens next, let me just say for the record, We are super cool people! LOL... We ransacked my old lego boxes and started to build stuff. Nicolette, myself, Fabian and Qing Wen messed with the Lego bits and pieces while Ray tried to fix this 3D puzzle of a race car. xDD

Nicolette and I, after packing the Lego stuff back, grabbed some of those styrofoam wheels from the 3D puzzle and started tossing them to each other simultaneously LOL Trying to set a new Guinness record!!! xDD To see how many times we can toss AND catch successful the wheels, simultaneously! We made it to 15!!! Not easy!! LoooL xDD

By the time we settled down from all the fun and excitement of the tossing and catching and Lego building, it was 6ish and I think most of us were pretty bushed so we took it easy and just chilled. We had heart-to-heart chats about life and experiances in relationships and stuff. I think I may have yakked too much when explaining my own experiance *red* but it was a very wholesome conversation we all had indeed!! =D

I opened Nicolette and Fabian's birthday presents to me. Fabian gave me this SUPER cool watch! In fact, I'm trying it on now! LoL xDD Very stylish! *feels all business-like with the watch* LOL =P !! Nicolette's present was this beautiful box with sweets inside and an EXTREMELY adorable palm-sized soft toy plushie cat!! It reminded me of "Kinder Surprise" with the chocolate egg where you eat the shell and there is a little surprise inside heehee I used to LOVE collecting them!!
The best part of the whole day and also the best present I got that nothing comes close, is the birthday card(s) that Nicolette created for me!!! When I opened the envelop and started to go through the card (it comes in 3 pages! =D ), loving the pictures and reading the message inside, I don't know how to describe this feeling that suddenly hit me. I was SO very touched!! To be honest, I almost teared... ='') Its the first time I've recieved such a gift and its gifts like these that I treasure SOOOO much!! All the money in the world can never buy it or replace it in any way!!
My sister really made my day with her gift!!

It was soooo sad when they all had to head home...When you have a blast, time flies on jet plane!! And its so unfair >.< !! If only we could turn back time and enjoy certain events of our choice just that once or twice more!! <33333 =D

I do hope we all get to hang out again and maybe do another sleep over some time!! It would be tons of fun!!!!! xD !!!!

New Start

I reformatted my computer for the 2nd time in 2 weeks. The spyware is all gone and I don't get anymore errors! Finally!

Today I officially get promoted to the 20s club LOL xD I still can't believe its my birthday today. Tomorrow's the BBQ!!!! FINALLY!!!!!!!! xD!!!!!!!!! Its gonna be one helluve wicked fun time!!!!! :D Mom says she wants to bring me out for lunch later today somewhere "special" according to her. We'll have to see! =D I expect I'll be driving though LoL

I've realised that, although I may know nuts about cars mechnically, I LOVE admiring sports cars and sleek designed cars of all sorts =P I'm sort of collecting these wallpapers of different cars like Lambourghini's, Porshe's and more! I plan to interchange the wallpapers every so often for a fresh look! =)

Something fishy

Today started off like any other Sunday. Mom, Grandma and I went for lunch and then they did some shopping. We went to HarbourFront today. It was really crowded. Most of the parking levels were full so we had to up like 3 levels to find a spot to park lol.

The evening was pretty interestng. Mom decided to drop by her best friend's place (Karen) to give them some bones and stuff that we kept for her dogs (Coffee and Horlicks). Thats the name of the two dogs, not referring to the hot drinks of the same name LOL =P

When we arrived, we saw Karen scooping up the fish from her pond, transporting 3 to 4 huge Koi's each time, to their new home that's a short drive away from the current house. We decided to help them out and so the "interesting events" occured. Mom started by assisting in the catching of the Koi's. There was a short ledge around the pond so it was partially a balancing act if you didn't want to get wet. We got the first load ready and headed down by car to the new house.

Karen started to put the Koi's into the new pond one by one. The footing she had while balancing and scooping up the fish wasn't so stable and so she went swimming for a bit in the pond lol =P

After getting back to the house, I told mom "You better watch your balance so you don't fall in". I could practically see it coming. 10minutes later mom went swimming with the fishes too LoL...Both of them, best friends, soaking wet =P It was quite a day xD

It's 5 days to the BBQ!! I'm really excited!! Its gonna be a BLAST!! =D I am SO sure Fabian and Ray are gonna konk out at 5 or 6 am and *SNOOORREEEE* LooooL And Nicolette and I are gonna be going on and on and on about Full House!! <3333

We'll be debating on the characters and we just might prepare some durians to attack that publisher guy AND the script writers!! xD

I enjoy Metal songs and Hip Hop...even R&B and Reggae....but I will always have a special liking for Love Songs. There are young people who find love songs to be sappy and sometimes just plain boring and all that...but I think given the right moment,place and time, if a person can appreciate love songs, it is really beautiful. It really accompanies the mood, the ambience. I've been listening to Michael Bolton's songs lately, in particular "Said I Loved You But I Lied". It is one helluva powerful song! Listening to the abovementioned song as I write this. Somehow this song really assists when it comes to thinking of stuff and just...engulfing yourself in unimaginable thoughts that you concoct in the depts of your mind.

After watching almost the entire series of "Full House" (still got 1 more episode to go), it me realise just how hard relationships can be. It is beautiful beyond words, to be in love, but it doesn't come to you on a silver platter in room full of roses. It comes with rocky roads, challenges that we sometimes feel so emotionally drained from that we want to give up...

Emotions are quite astounding if you think about it. Emotions alone, can pull us back, emotions alone can make us feel like we're in heaven...or like we're trapped.

They say....the first one or two months of a relationship is always beautiful...but its when you enter the 3rd or 4th month that it starts to get challenging. I'm not exactly sure myself, just how accurate this is...but I guess time is the greatest factor in anything and everything really.

I guess sometimes I do wonder what it is like to have that special someone by your side, to cherish and love, and to spoil with flowers and gifts and truckloads of love! :) Its a beautiful thing, love. It truely is.

I'm still looking around for ideas for a new blogskin...I will do something brighter and more cheerful. :) Till tomorrow, adios! :)

Near The Ending

This is a late (but never too late) blog entry! xD I was so caught up in watching "Full House" with Nicolette and chatting with her about the show that time flew and I still hadn't done my blog entry! =D

My sis, being a super duper fast viewer, has already watched till episode 15 while I'm still on 14 LOL. We plan to save the final episode (Episode 16) for next Friday on the 17th (My Birthday!!) so we can watch it together then and chat ALL about the show during the BBQ!!! xD We'll be throwing durians and punches at the different characters!! xD The script writer really got problem! Makes things work then mess up, then work and mess up over and over again! Its so frustrating when things are looking good and you're relieved but then something just HAS to go wrong =x

Well, YoungJae's feelings for the nice girl is out in the open so lets hope its smooth sailing in episode 15. At the very least, partially smooth sailing xD

Spending the morning with my wonderful sister as always! She brighten's my day and I always look forward to seeing her online at night to chat and watch shows together!! =D Nicolette is the best Sister ever!! <33333333333

Full House!!!

Under normal circumstance, I usually only watch English shows and you should buy 4D if I ever watch a chinese show that I liked even. This morning, Nicolette and I were chatting and checking out youtube.com and she found this korean drama called "Full House". She absolutely LOVES it so I figured I might as well at LEAST give it a shot and see what I thought of it.

Whaddayaknow, I'm hooked LOL Nicolette and I, brother and sister, kept on yakking on and on about the characters in the show Rofl xD Its really fun to watch! I felt like throwing a durian at the guy coz he is like soooo mean to this girl who treats him so good...at the same time there is this model whom the guy used to be madly in love with (and I think he still is!!) and she is SOOO cunning and sly, the way she was toying with his feelings >=O The guy fell for it somemore!

See, thanks to my superbly awesome sis, I'm now addicted to this show and you can bet your bootay she and I will be yakking more about it later tonight LoL xD

I think its like, when you're standing on the edge of the sea and you look out at the horizon, it is then that you realise just how small you are and how enourmous this world is. Living in a bustling city with cars and buildings, one doesn't get to realise the true beauty of the world around.

Its Been A While

Its been a few days since my last entry...I've been practically sitting here doing nothing and just listening to tunes. Its almost 5am so I guess I'll be heading to bed. I was listening to some really reminiscing kinda songs.

You know what? In a way I'm happy that I have a plan in life...that I know where I am heading....but I do sometimes wish I could be a kid again. I think back on those good ol days where I never had a care in the world....Well, the only thing I'd worry about was when the holidays started and getting my homework done...Nowadays I have to worry about what my future will be like, what I want to do to achieve success and stuff...

When we're young, we want so badly to grow up but when we are all grown up, we want to be children again.

I really miss Nicolette! Its be so awfully long since we had a good chat!! We might be meeting up soon with Fabian and Ray so thats awesome! Really looking forward to that!! <33 =D!!

This is awesome!! I can now blog without even entering www.blogspot.com! I can input my entry from any website! I found this extention for firefox called "Deepest Sender" which is a tool for blogging where it logs into your blog account for you and you just type in your entry and everything and it updates your blog for you! Fantastic ain't it!

Open-source certainly has its advantages! If only microsoft wasn't so stingy and tight-lidded with its products ;)

Anyway, I miss Nicolette xD She's having internet probs so she won't be online till Wednesday I believe. Thats quite a while...Oh well, time does fly by though! At least we can sms occasionally so its all good! =)

Can't wait for my book to arrive from Amazon.com! I ordered one of the two books written by Kevin Mitnick, a social engineer/hacker-turned-security consultant who explains all about social engineering and gives examples and explains how one can have the best security software but it as good as not having it because it is us Humans who are the weakest link in any organisation/company. Kevin Mitnick and his associates get hired by companies now and then to "hack" into their database using social engineering and other methods. Upon doing so, Kevin Mitnick gives a detailed report to the CEOs of the respective company on the areas of security that are weak and gives them ideas and suggestions on strengthening.

Its really cool to learn! This guy, a complete outsider, can enter a company and exit with the company's most confidential information. Check it out sometime! =)

Letter To STI

Had a VERY relaxing day today..Woke up at 5pm after having to be up by 7/8am the past 2 days (Which my body is not used to lol).

Anyway, after chatting with Nicolette, I decided to browse the net for interesting articles from the Straits Times, that have been posted on the net. I found the Straits Times' online website called "The Straits Times Interactive" (STI).

I browsed through STI for a little bit and found some interesting responses and such. I decided to be a part of the forum and perhaps post some as well. When I tried to register as a member, in their form, they request your yearly income and highest education qualification, amongst other things and these are all required fields! I know
I can just give fake information and be done with it, but its just not right to be asking customers for such information, especially over the internet. Besides, why on earth would an online newspaper website need your educational and income details in the first place? What has it got to do with them OR the website?

No Needles..More Paperwork And Check ups...

I reached CMPB at 8:30, just in time to report in which is scheduled at 8:40. I left the premises at 8:35 >=| I left the premesis with 4 documents and 2 envelops. I have to report to the National Heart Center on the 31st of March for a schedule appointment. Mom and I suspect its because of my previous issues regarding heart murmurs that the doctor spotted in the health booklets. I REALLY hope this gets me a PES C for NS. If after going through all this, I get a PES B, I'll SO be cheesed off lol =p

Anyway, today I've been messing about on photoshop again. I really do like animations and grahpic stuff. Newfound hobby of mine I guess you could say xD I've been browsing the internet for tips and tricks on Photoshop usage. Cool tricks like doing a3D button or embedding a person's picture into a background image and making it blend in perfectly =P Its soooo cool!!

Well this entry will be short! Gonna go chat with mah sis and just chill! Tomorrow I gotta go accompany jiarong for HIS reporting LoL...Hope he gets a further check up too hehe =P

This is one extremely beautiful song! I was checking out other artistes on www.audiri.com when I stumbled upon Shannon Cutts' profile. I had a listen to her song "Modern Day Eve" and instantly loved it! She has a beautiful voice and blended with the awesome piano riffs makes for one awesome song!!!!

Monday's the medical test day ahhhh I still do wonder what test they wanna do...Hope it doesn't take up my whole morning.

I was re-introduced to this song by MEW called "156". Its an AWESOME song too!! It has this quality about it thats hard to explain. The last few lines goes "156, don't you just love goodbyes". The band MEW won't say what 156 represents or means so everyone is trying to contemplate its hidden meaning. Its so intruiging!! xD

You Choose Your Reaction

I read this quote somewhere the other day that goes something like "Nobody can make you feel angry or sad or any other emotion. People create the situation and its up to you to decide how you want to react."

Sometimes its just really hard to not feel one way when the people seem to make it so, especially when you get unfavourable comments about your work or when accusations are thrown at you. I kept reminding myself of the above quote. I read it over and over again in my mind. And you know what, it did help! People create these situations in life...but its up to you to choose how you want to react. If someone insults you, do you get angry and strike back? Or do you take it in good stride and brush it off your shoulder like the dirt that it is?

Its never easy to control how we feel sometimes...we are human afterall...but its not impossible. Will power is all it takes. Hell, you'll still feel a slight sting when you think about it but it will always be "Mind Over Matter" and virtually anything is achievable!

You get all sorts of people in this world. In every community, in every group, there will always be good and bad. Its what you make of it that makes all the difference in the world.

Well, Valentines Day is over...but that doesn't mean couples won't be going on dates and guys giving their girls flowers and chocolates. I think Valentines Day is everyday really. If you want it to be Valentines Day, and you make the effort to make it happen, then it is! Who knows, maybe after I get out of the army and get my life back on the road of progress, I'll meet someone nice and be able to celebrate my first ever Valentines Day LoL :) That'll be something REALLY special. You know, I see all these guys at the MRT station standing in a row as if they know each other, with bouquets of red roses in their hands and lit candles on the parapet just behind them. That is just SO overrated these days man. If I had a valentine, I'd spend time preparing something unique...different and extremely special. I suppose there would be red roses and chocolates. The approach would, of course, be different! I am SO not going to stand with a bunch of guys, holding a bouquet of red roses with lit candles at my behind. I don't exactly know what I'd do but I'll be writing it here when it happens you can be assured of that!

As today is Friday, its 3 days till I have to go back to CMPB for that medical test thing. I still do wonder what test they want to do on me and I am pretty certain its a blood test *shudders* Oh well, just gotta get it over and done with. Gotta give JiaRong a call to see if he still wants to head down. We agreed that he'd accompany me on Monday and I accompany him on Tuesday. Lmao He has to go for another test too xD I have this feeling his is going to take forever just like before...Well, hopefully we get PES C's xD

Standing up

I joined this forum "neowin.net". Trust me you don't EVER want to be a member in there. I registered and posted on this one thread for Windows Live Messenger BETA invitations, hoping to get invites. This was about 2-3months again. I subscribed to that thread a day after I posted. I unsubscribed to the thread a week later but till now, I still get my inbox flooded with over 30 email notifications on this thread. Its SO annoying!

The best part is this: I posted on their forum issues board where they stated this problem was confirmed a bug and is being worked on. It has been "worked on" for months and many users have this issue. I posted saying that they just HAVE to fix it because everyone is getting put off by how much damage this forum is doing to email inboxes..flooding some with 100s of notifications. The guy replies calling me a dick. He's a "Supervisor" in the forum and hence one with some power.

This is my reply to him :-

" I'm trying to explain how dissatisfied I am as well as many other users I can garuntee you. If you can even say to me that I am being a dick, that is just plain unprofessional. It clearly shows your unability to handle an unsatisfied customer. This puts me off even more from using this forum. Why the hell are you a "Supervisor" in the first place if you are not capable of dealing with customers? Think about that the next time you try to be clever.

And to answer your question, no. I am still being flooded. "

I've realised this year that you sometimes have to stand up and make your point clear. If someone does something to you that you feel is wrong, you need to just say it. Thats how life is I suppose...If you don't get the satisfied service but keep quiet about it, they'll walk all over you. If you open up and say "Hey..this is not right" then they will step back and realise you are not to be messed with and they'll take steps to ensure it doesn't repeat.

Of course, you have to be reasonable too when explaining and not be rude or anything lol. =D

I remember when driving, as I was stopped at a red light, this car suddenly swerved into my lane just beside me, VERY close to hitting me. I instinctively swerved a little to the left to avoid hitting him and I slammed on the horn, dragging it out a little to express my astonishment and frustration at his easily avoidable carelessness. He was so shocked he daren't even turn to look at me. He stared straight ahead. I'm not sure what happened but I'm thinking maybe he had a bit too much to drink =S Oh well....

Its Falling Slowly

It rained today!! Finally! I woke up at about 1pm and saw it was pouring rain. It must have been some kinda automatic reaction, my body automatically went back to the bed and I slept somemore LOL xD Not sure how I'm gonna be able to wake up in time to answer the door when the delivery guy comes between 9 and 12 but I hope I'll be up! =x

Waited all evening for Nicolette to come online! I always look forward to our chats! =)
Only thing is, when we chat, time flies and beforeyou know it, its 12:15am (The Nanny!!) then 5am =x lol But its all good! Tons of fun spending time with mah sis!! xD

Man, CNY is over!! Well traditionally not yet but holiday-wise and hongbao-wise its over lmao..Was fun collecting them hongbaos! xD

I feel like composing another song! Might see what I can come up with tomorrow! Or later in the morning! =D

I woke up this morning/afternoon to find this at my computer table...

I was thinking "who left this chinese cream/medicine thingy on the table? O.o"
In my curiousity, I decided to open it and have a look inside....

As it turned out, its a collector's $2 coin for the Year Of The Dog! Mom went to buy it for me lol...Its pretty neat!

I wonder what its like to be a coin collector...Quite an expensive hobby I'm guessing =x But it is really neat! Haven't persued any hobbies of mine for a long time! Well, except for playing the guitar! =D

My DOOM3 still hasn't arrived! I called the customer service and asked if the product is available and this lady said she'll ask her colleague and get back to me. After 2 over hours I still hadn't recieved a reply so I called back and the lady said she hadn't recieved a reply from her colleage. Up till now, I've yet to get a reply from them on whether the product is still in stock. LoL Oh well =]

The best part of the day is always chatting with my beloved sis! xD

Well as it turns out, I got a return email saying "F.E.A.R" is not in stock. I decided to choose another game. I browsed around and decided to try DOOM3 since its got fantastic ratings as well...I placed an order then decided to check out the official website. Just visiting the website is enough to make you wet your pants oh my god =x The sound effects on their website itself is frightening...There is no way one can play this game at night man =x I have a feeling at the back of the box of the game they'd state "If you are prone to heart attacks, please refrain from playing this game" *shudders* LoL

Anyway!! Chatting with my beloved sis right now! We just watched The Nanny! Love it love it love it!!!! <333 Fran was so sure Niles was a murderer trying to kill her but as it turned out, he was writing a play and she found the manuscript LOL =P

Well I know how the rest of my night/morning before I sleep will be, fun chat with my sis! xD The best part of da day I tell ya! <3

Lazy Afternoon

Woke up at about 3pm hehe =P Came online to check my download of Friends and it was a success!! I've one more new episode to add to my collection WOOO!! =P Oh yea, I purchased "F.E.A.R" online earlier this morning. I got the confirmation email....I just know I'm gonna scare the socks off myself with this game. Its like one of the top rated scariest games...God knows why I bought it =S Cannot play it at night thats for sure! Once it gets dark, must stop and wait till the next day LOL... Anyway, at night I chat with my sis! That makes hours fly by like minutes! <3

Well I'm gonna just chill out the rest of this afternoon and await my sis' return!

Met up with Nicolette today! We had an awesome time!! I know I definitely did!!! xD

We met up at CityHall and then walked over to Sun Tec City for lunch. Nicolette had her camera with her of course! We ate at Swensens..baked rice....and then ice cream!! *rubs tummy* still stuffed!! LoL =P Ooo yea we checked out this "Fountain Of Fortune" and this security guard guy (big mean-looking dude lol) lets in a certain number each time to go up to the fountain and you're supposed to walk 3 or 4 times in a clockwise direction around the fountain, the whole time stretching out your right hand and silently making a wish as the water shoots up and soaks your hand xD

After doing just that, we walked around Sun Tec a little, looked around the shops and saw just how much the place had changed! There's a Toys'r'us on the top level!!! Not sure how long that has been around but its the first time I've seen it there xD Nicolette showed me the Sky Gardens, and I must say it is one AWESOME place!! We were slippin and sliding around too LMAO Nicolette'll know what I mean xD

After walking around Sun Tec, we decided to hit Orchard Road and head down to Borders for a little bit......My sis wanted to use a shortcut *ahem* and it turned out to be a no-cut deadend LoL..Coz we have to go back up to the 2nd floor from 1st floor, to go over to the other side of the building. We went around outside on the 1st floor and it turned out to be a deadend, so we had to walk back around and then go up the escalator LoL =P I love teasing her about that hehe xD The best part about the whole afternoon is the great company! We chatting the whole time and joked around and stuff...it was really tons of fun!!! xD

We almost got stuck in the Chingay parade I think...We just made it out. By the time we got to Orchard Road, it was about 4 and we headed to Borders. When we exited the MRT station, you could see the staff personnel for MRT, closing some of the doors and putting up barriers. By this time, our lunch had made us pretty thirsty so we got a drink inside wheelock place at a little restaurant called "Big O"..Interesting name I must add.. LoL The Big O...=P

We got down into Borders and browsed some magazines..looked around...lotsa really good books they have..

We probably would have hung out longer if it wasn't for the Chingay parade...It would have gotten awfully crowded so we decided it be best that we make our way back...I think we got into the station and left in the nick of time! xD

I had the best day with mah sis!!!! Really disappointed its over so fast but it was one helluva great day!! Wooooo!!! xD

Ahh I shoulda taken pics of us with my Phone cam too!! >.< Well we'll meet up again so I'll take the pics then!! xD

Life's Challenges

Tonight was quite a challenge. Had to bring a bed mattress over to my Grandma's place. We had to squeeze the mattress in the car and place the backseats down flat...the boot couldn't close so we had to tie it down LOL...

Life's challenges....come in many different shapes and sizes xD

Ooooo foty Minor is COOOL!!!! Went to download their album and have a listen...RAWKING!!! The rythmn beats are catchy!! They make you thump your feet and hands!! xD

Gonna meet Nicolette tomorrow!! Really looking forward to it!!! We're gonna check out Swensens Yummmmm!!! =D Its gonna be tons of fun!!!! Woooo!!! Can't wait!

I found this song by INXS called "God's Top Ten"...its a tribute to one of their band members who apparently comitted suicide or something. Anyway, its a really beautiful song. It has a very ghostly feel to it...I really love it! I introduced it to Nicolette and she really enjoyed it too!! =D If anyone here is interested, do check it out! Some of their songs are pretty awesome! This is my favourite one though hehe =D

I obtained the Dirty Dancing : Havana Nights soundtrack (FINALLY!) *Shakes bootay to the songs* It's got REALLY cool dance tracks!! Nicolette is gonna love this album hehe xD Rawking!!!

Tomorrow (or today rather) is gonna be another good day I'm sure of it! xD

Went searching for new music and stumbled upon this band called "Acceptance" and they have pretty good music! I think the genre is Rock. Not sure if its Pop/Rock or something/Rock but it certainly is Rock...Alternative Rock perhaps? =) I like 2 songs best in their album " Phantoms " called "Take Cover" and "So Contagious" ! Do check it out everyone!

Today I woke up to find one of Mom's friend came to visit...I wake up to a hong bao..now THAT is the life eh LOL =P "Let the hong bao do the walking" >=D Heehee...
Mom and I went to Great World City to check out kitchen ovens (Which they didn't have) so we had lunch there, did some grocery shopping for dinner and stuff then came home..I just chilled the day away! *relax* Hehe..

I'm still admiring the prezzie that Nicolette made for me!! =DD
