My day started real early..like 8am...Headed down to SFMS to meet Mr Philip Tan and Ervin (who incidentally showed up only at 12) so Mr Tan and myself had a little practice while waiting...We played on the congos and the drumsets and basically anything and everything that produced sound! We recorded our playing (raw recording) just jamming about and getting the feel for each other's rythmn...After the first practice, we grabbed some lunch and then I went to sit in one of Mr Tan's classes where he was showing the kids a VCD movie about this guy who's Aunt's last wish was for him to start a choir in this little neighbourhood. I can't recall the title but from what I saw so far (about 30mins of the entire movie), its a smashing movie!! =D
We jammed with Ervin eventually at 12ish and it was pretty awesome! Weirdly enough, after the whole practice session and all, I ended up with a blue-black bruise on my right thumb and my index finger (on right hand) feels like its a little swollen..ever so slightly but its noticable =S Oh well it should prolly go away after a couple days or so. =)
It was wonderful meeting up with a bunch of the SFMS guys and gals after so many months...Seeing them again...catching up on good times and stuff...I guess, for now, the past two years of my life, being in SFMS, have been one chapter in itself, of my entire life which sadly has closed...I wish so badly that I could just reopen that chapter and add more pages to it...but I guess it can't be done..Have to move on and look forward to more brand new chapters that await exploration! =D
