Woke up at 1ish in the afternoon..lol Went down to Canon's repair place at Harbourfront..I gotta say, they were really nice..mainly I guess because the defect on my digital camera is one that occurs to many cameras according to this notice my mom found on their website. They will fix it for free if that is indeed the problem. They have even loaned me a camera for the holidays and all until our original camera is fixed which will be mid-January. Long way to go lol...

I'm just chilling out to Dire Straits music xD

FINALLY my music host seems to be working again. I suspect they had some technical problem or something...anyway I've got Dire Straits on my blog now wooo!!

Met up with Malcom today and we talked over lunch. I got my pay as well. It turns out this Dr.Ho guy told Malcom he already paid me. He also appears to be not very reliable and as such, Malcom is removing him from Drum Cafe. Just as well eh LoL. The meeting turned out pretty well...The money I got, i used to cover my mobile bill which I paid after the meeting lol great timing! xD

Watching the 3rd of the 4 part series of Harry Potter today..Harry Potter : Prisoner Of Azkaban (however you spell that) LoL =P If I'm not wrong, the ORIGINAL Dumbledore passed away and the producers got someone else to play the part...but alas, the original Dumbledore is still a million times better! He has this calm and soothing aura around him =)

I spoke to Malcom, one of the two associates of Drum Cafe. He asked to meet me to "make things right". He insists on giving me the promised pay. I asked him to just send it to my place but he says he needs my signature so yeah I'll be meeting him tomorrow morning. Not quite looking forward to it but oh well..I don't even know how much I'm supposed to get..thats how un-hardup I am about the money...I mean the extra cash I could do with but its the principals behind the whole matter that concern me most ya'know =)

Today was awesome! =) Met up with Raihan first at about 12ish and then we went for lunch at wisma I think it was lol...Walked over to Cinelesuire to meet LeeCheng but she hadn't come at the discussed time so we decided to head acoss to the road, over to HMV to check out CDs and F&N was giving out FREE can drinks again!! WOOHOO!! xD I remember the flavour and name by heart this time LOL F&N "Blazt". Its a mixture of Orange and Mango! Its pretty cool! Especially when you're thirsty! xD After checking out the CDs, we went back to Cine to see if LeeCheng had arrived and true enough, we found each other pretty easily! After a quick chat, we headed to Long John's so she could have her lunch while we accompanied her with drinks lol..Later Raihan and me ended up peeing a helluvalot xD Met Husein a little later in Cine as well, as planned then we walked around Orchard some..We couldn't find a place to sit and chill so since Leecheng was to meet Nicole over at Dhoby Gaut at 6pm, we decided to all go there and chill instead. We went to the Food Court and Husein had his lunch/dinner...poor fella didn't eat the whole day so he was pretty famished xD Nicole met us a little later and after just chilling out and chatting with a whole lot of laughs as well, we made out way home, leaving LeeCheng and Nicole to spend quality time together as the two best friends that they are =)

Rushed home to meet mom and drive us and grandma out to dinner at a food place too then came back and here I am....a really eventful day....Oh yeah, we took some pics and 2 video clips on my phone...gotta find a way to put em on the com now xD

I've been so caught up in playing NFS: Most Wanted *red* but I've relaxed now hehe...Another week gone by....man....

I got my hair cut today...and I just finished watching the first 2 of the three episodes of Harry Potter on DVD with Mom =D If ony such magic was present in real life, life would be SO interesting wouldn't it! xD Well I'm plannin with Raihan on our meeting up timing and location etc...Tomorrow will be eventful fer sure!

My license arrived today!! xD When the postman knocked on my door and announced he was the postman, I said "I BET I know what that is!!" Hehehe....Oh yeah I ordered NFS: Most Wanted which is like, the latest of the NFS series and its gonna come tomorrow!! Can't wait to pimp mah ride!! >=P

Just ordered a copy of Need For Speed's latest series (Need For Speed: Most Wanted)!! Can't wait for it to arrive!! Hehe...Every since I got my license, I've had this urge to play NFS games..weird ain't it xD

Really chilled out now, listening to some 80s music...the weather has been absolutely FABULOUS!!
Even as I write this, its raining...the whole day its rained! I really REALLY hope it rains like mad later on today too!! (Wednesday) Its soooooo nice!! xD

I feel like walking in the rain....it gives one that feeling...its hard to describe...its just a really soothing feeling...to walk in a drizzle...feel the rain drops on your face and you close your eyes and just let yourself get lost in the feeling...Magical...its truely magical... =)

It really takes a LOT of patience and self-control to have to work with people you dislike...I've learnt that this year especially...It can be so hard...but you gotta swallow your personal opinions and remain neutral for progression's sake.

Sometimes when I see those people whom I dislike (and for reasonable reasons honestly) it really burns me up how they whine and whine and backstab...GOD how I hate backstabbers >.< But I still have to work with them so its like...ahhhh...its so very challenging...I'm trying my best...

Another week coming to a close and another new week beginning....Its almost Christmas..I still cannot get over that fact...Christmas is just around the corner...I wonder what the future holds for us...years down the room...starting our own families....Who knows what the future will look like!! =)

Today initially was like any other....nothing much really eventful took place today...Went to mom's best friend's place and we all went out to the supermarket xD

However, on the way home, as I was driving home, I stopped just before the turn off to Jln Mat Jambo as the traffic was pretty heavy. Of all people, Cassandra (my neighbour) who just passed her driving as well, was coming out of Jln Mat Jambo. I've put a diagram here you can check out.

As you can see from this diagram, I have the right of way, being on the main road. The cars in front started to to move forward so I prepared to move to. Cassandra, without turning her head right to check if i was gonna move, started to ease out as well. Fortunately I didn't move as I anticipated her move and mom was like "horn at her!" so I did lol. *Honk* I think Cassandra got the shock of her life. I was prepared to allow her to move but I was about moving really slowly and she should have given way as I was on the main road. I wonder if she went back and told her parents lol "That Kieran horned at me just now!! Such an arrogant driver~! >=O! " In truth, I did have the right of way so I'm good to go xD It was a pretty interesting experiance if I do say so myself lol.

I've another album on the way...can't wait to check it out!! Hehe...

I'm listening to Simon Webbe's latest album as I write this... =D He has some pretty nice songs! My favourite I have to say is still "Lay Your Hands" hehe...Been a warm afternoon but the evening was lovely with rain..very cooling weather to end yet another day!

I still cannot believe its the end of the year already...time really has flown by like an airplane...It would be nice to just turn back time just once yeah! =P If you could turn back time, how far back would you go? Something to ponder on!~

I woke up to a package..my amazon.com purchase has arrived! Woot! xD 2 weeks instead of the estimated 4 weeks...That is darned fast! =D I just hope my driving license comes that quick too!!!

Man...this week I've REALLY been chilling out and bumming around like no tomorrow! Really making up for last week's suffering rofl O=]

Christmas is coming! If you go to Orchard Road now, they don't let you forget that for even 5seconds, if you get what I mean..Christmas decorations everywhere! I gotta say, Christmas is my favourita season...it has its magic...makes you think of what you have done and gone through in the course of the year and makes you look forward to a new year ahead! As I was just telling a friend, after having this whole year off as a break, waiting for NS, I guess its made me appreciate time a lot more...to see people studying and/or working made me realise how time waits for nobody...Once its gone its gone...so we gotta just keep pushing on and on...but its also kinda a shame that we are born into this world, we study like crazy to get a good job, start working like mad to earn money, have a family and kids then grow old and die...I mean what is meaning of it all..whats the point of being born into this world...Ever thought about that? =) What do we achieve when we die? We keep the family line going thats one thing for sure...but whats the use really...Something for us to ponder on. =)

I was the household Chauffeur today! LoL...Drove mom and the old lady out for the Sunday lunch thing and also went down to my Godparents new place...I still cannot get over the fact that I passed!! xD Wooooot!

Anyway...I'm looking forward to a week of relaxation!!! And of waiting..for my license to arrive in the mail and for my book that I purchased on Amazon.com heh heh =D I'm starting to sorta plan what I'm gonna do tomorrow...RELAX!! The most beautiful 5 letter work in the english dictionary!! >=D Heehee...

I drove some today..brought mom to the market and then we went for lunch..and then drove back...and when our maid wanted to wash the car, I went down to move the car to a lot nearer to the washing bay...

It really makes one feel....free..ya'know, to be able to drive...It gives one that feeling of total freedom...I'm just waiting for the chance to burn the Need For Speed album I got into a CD so I can play it in the car Heehee...Oh and I wanna take that drive down to East Coast Park to sit by the beach and watch the sunset with my music..and perhaps my guitar to get inspired into composing some new songs...It be great!! =D It be cool to cruise along the highway at night or late evening and have some chill-out kinda music playing....

Ah it be best to drive in UK! In the countryside...oh that would be awesome!!! =D

Oh yea, I've "quit" Drum Cafe. One of the associates told me he was going to pay me for the previous session I assist in and it has been 2 months I hadn't heard of anything about it. Today the guy insisted he needed me down for another session and I admit I told him last minute that I wasn't going to make it...but when I mentioned that I was displeased about not having any information regarding my payment for the previous session, he THEN said "This is unprofessional. I haven't had the chance to meet up with you to pay you. Give me your address and I will send you the pay".
The thing is, I'm not hard up for the pay. Even if he cannot pay me, thats totally fine because the experiance is priceless...but I did not mention the pay for 2 months..I did not even ask him how much he was going to pay me..and now, 2 months later, when I mention it, he says "i hadn't got the chance to meet you". What this tells me is that he was probably hoping I'd forget about it and since I mentioned it, he covers up by giving the excuse that he hadn't got the chance to meet me. HE is clearly the unprofessional if you ask me. He could at least have the decency to let me know that he cannot pay or that it would take a long time...But he has the nerve to ask me to do more sessions with him without even mentioning my overdue payment...

So as of today, I'm not having anything to do with this group. If I work for someone, I would expect an honest decent working relationship. If he cannot pay me, thats fine..I don't mind not being paid..but at least TELL ME if you cannot and I will understand. I try to be very understanding and I never pressure at all but he waits until I ASK then he gives an excuse, and this is being dishonest. It is unacceptable. I'll be happier working somewhere else as a percussionist. =)

OHHHH YEAAAHHH BAYBEEEHHHHH!!! I passed!!!!!!! GOOD BYE DRIVING CENTRE!! >=D Heeheehee...

Man...what a rush!! Sitting for my test...I met a few others who were also doing the test today..a total of 10 of us passed in our batch of testees. This lady who had to show us some videos for those who passed their test said that the batch before us at about 12ishpm had only a few passes so we were lucky! Also, I got a Mr.Tan for my tester!! Lady Luck certainly was on my side!!

I closed my account in BBDC, bought my P-Plates and paid for my license! I should be getting it between 2 to 4 weeks! Its like the COOLEST-looking piece of plastic to have in your wallet LoL I know I'm a little nuts but well..so sue me I passed! xD

Tonight I can definitely sleep well! Maybe tomorrow I'll go for my first drive as a licensed driver =P No more instructors to tell me to turn left or right and to start telling me this and that WOOHOO!! xD

Today's the day of the test! Well, in a bunch of hours time...Thats all I keep thinking of today..My test...I wanna pass so badly! I know I can do it! I just need to relax and do my best...being nervous is just an emotion like every other feeling...I must overcome it and relax...I can do this!

I've got yet another episode of Friends just about complete from downloading. That ought to get my mind off it for a while =)

Its already Thursday!! (Its 2:40am so technically it is xD ) Man I can't believe 3-4 days in this week has already gone by...I have this fear about my test on Friday...AHHH I can do this!!!!! *oooommmmm* *meditates* I know I can do it! I gotta keep telling myself that..and to treat it like any other lesson (minus the careless mistakes)...
I feel so stoned at this point lol..Listening to Sevendust - This Life makes one very stoned lol

I think I'm going to take today as a rest day before the test...I've really learnt a LOT the past 3 days during the lessons...Really benefited a LOT =)

I'm back!! xD I just got home from my 2nd driving lesson this week! 2 down and 2 more to go before my big test! Going for the lesson is the easy part..its coming home that is really tiring! The sun is like scorching hot...whew! Need a nice ice cold drink right about now! xD

Actually this week has gone by pretty fast so far..Monday, Tuesday..tomorrow is already Wednesday =O And for some unknown reason, it ALWAYS rains in the wee hours of the morning!!
Ahhh...I miss staying up real late too lol..Have to hit the sack by 2 or else I won't get enough rest for the lesson...nvm! Suffer this week, pass and get my driving lessons over with and next week relax!!!!! Wooooo! xD

You heard right! Free can drinks!! And more then 1 too!! xD Met Samuel, Darren, Trev and Chee Hong this afternoon and we all grabbed lunch and hung out... Walked around orchard road, neart HMV and these people were handing out Ice-Cold Cans of F&N (iforgothename) lol...its a new flavour..its a mix of mango and another fruit..its pretty damn good! When I first saw the name I was like "uhh O.o " but its actually quite nice! Maybe I was really thirsty which gave it an edge but I still say its pretty good stuff! These people are smart too! When they hand out the free cans, they OPEN it and then hand it out so you cannot bring loads home LOL...smart right! xD

It was definitely a good day today! =) I sure did enjoy myself! Watching the guys play some arcade games and Trev challenged me to a racing game..similar to Daytona...but a hell of a lot weirder lol..Was hard to turn on those sharp corners...if I had to pass in that, sure fail man LOL =P

Anyway, my purchase on Amazon.com has FINALLY started its shipping over here! Thats good news! =) I'm thinking of putting on this new Michael Bolton song called "Steel Bars" on my blog for a change in song...Still contemplating hehe.

I forgot to blog yesterday lol...Bummed around at home and had my godparents and some of their friends over for dinner..was a big crowd! It was great! =)

Today was a good day too! I recorded another song which I have been working on the past couple of days...Its been a while since I last did a recording...A proper one that is lol...even though its hardly professional but its bearable xD I just had beef noodles again for dinner just 15min ago..and DAMN I'm full...It ALWAYS hits the spot! Hehe...

I hope everyone is enjoying the Craig David song I put up on my blog...Its like the only song I kinda like in the album..I guess I can be pretty picky sometimes when it comes to songs I like..But I do love music on a whole! =) Anyhow, I decided to blog early tonight for a change...Not much to report *salute* But I shall return with tomorrow's report lol Adios!~

I survived the Driving Lesson today!! It actually went a LOT better then I originally anticipated! The instructor was one of the guys from my "prescribed" group of instructors and he was real cool today lol...I found out something today...

My instructor said that my driving is pretty good...I managed not to stall the engine at all even! LoL So I explained to my instructor what happened for my test 3 months back. I explained that when I was turning left after vertical parking, the tester said "You are too near the curb" so I said "I understand" however I did not touch the curb so all was well. However, when I got my report back which stated I had 26 points, it showed I recieved demerits for striking the curb which I never did! And I got points for being slow in moving off after stopped at a traffic light and today my instructor said I was doing perfectly fine in that. I explained all this to him and he checked my PDL (Provisional Drivers License) which showed at the back, the test date which I took and the tester's name. Immediately my instructor said "Wah you got Mr Poh as your tester" and he further explained "Mr.Poh almost NEVER passes any of his testees. He is famous for failing students heh" I then calculated and if I didn't get penalized for striking a curb and being slow in moving off, I would have passed!! >.< Then he said that there are 3 testers by the name of "Mr.Tan" and coincidentally all 3 of them are VERY lenient in their testing. As long as you can drive average and don't make any immediate-failure type of mistakes, they will pass you. I REALLY hope I get a Mr Tan as my tester next Friday lol =P

Anyway, after the lesson I came home to chill...In the evening I went out with mom to visit one of her colleagues who underwent a minor surgery.

To top off the day, I bought mom dinner at Swensens in Orchard and back home we came after the dinner! Baked rice!! The BEST baked rice can only be found in Swensens man! =D
