Had a VERY relaxing day today..Woke up at 5pm after having to be up by 7/8am the past 2 days (Which my body is not used to lol).
Anyway, after chatting with Nicolette, I decided to browse the net for interesting articles from the Straits Times, that have been posted on the net. I found the Straits Times' online website called "The Straits Times Interactive" (STI).
I browsed through STI for a little bit and found some interesting responses and such. I decided to be a part of the forum and perhaps post some as well. When I tried to register as a member, in their form, they request your yearly income and highest education qualification, amongst other things and these are all required fields! I know I can just give fake information and be done with it, but its just not right to be asking customers for such information, especially over the internet. Besides, why on earth would an online newspaper website need your educational and income details in the first place? What has it got to do with them OR the website?
With that said, I wrote in a letter to their editor/webmaster. Want to see what I wrote? Check it out here. =)
